General Operating Fund – Public Notice/Budget Hearing – FY 2026/2027

Pursuant to Section 6-1-80, South Carolina Code of Laws, 1976, as amended, public notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of McCormick, SC will hold a public hearing on the Town’s General Operating Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027, the public hearing to be held at the McCormick One Stop Conference Room, 109 W. Augusta St., McCormick, SC, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 beginning at 7 PM. All citizens will, at that time, have an opportunity, during the public hearing, to ask questions, make comments and/or suggestions concerning the proposed fiscal year 2026/2027 Town General Fund operating budget.

A copy of the proposed budget is presently available for inspection at McCormick Town Hall, 117 W. Augusta St., McCormick, SC from 8 AM to 5 PM (M T Th F) and from 8 AM to 12 NOON (W). A summary of the proposed FY 2026/2027 Town General Fund operating budget as compared to the duly approved and adopted FY 2025/2026 Town General Fund operating budget is as follows:
